Meet Dr. Ron Bautsch
Ron Bautsch, DDS MS
Personal reward sums up the field of orthodontics. Transforming misaligned or crooked teeth into beautiful, confident smiles provides a tremendous sense of personal gratification. I am a witness, over the course of a couple of years, to a transformation from a child to a young adult. It is so wonderful to send these “new” young adults out into the world with fantastic smiles.
Education and Continuing Education
- Bachelor of Science in zoology – Texas A&M
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery – University of Texas Health Science Center
- Master of Science/certificate in orthodontics – University of Texas Health Science Center
My continuing education centers on honing my skills as an orthodontist. Currently, my interests lie in Damon™ Smile and Invisalign® clear aligners. Staying current in the rapidly changing field requires continued learning by attending CE courses.
Aggressive pursuit of continued learning benefits my patients on several levels. First and foremost, the latest, most efficient and comfortable technologies are available to my patients. Faster treatment times with this translates to less “orthodontic” soreness.
Continuing education also exposes me to new, better, and more efficient ways to handle challenging cases. As orthodontic treatment modalities and technologies continue to change, I am dedicated to staying abreast by aggressively pursuing continuing education.
Outside the Office
I grew up in Houston, and have lived in Montgomery County for more than 30 years. I am happily married with two grown sons and two playful dogs. When I’m not creating beautiful smiles at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and photography.
